Spanish is a new language to me and this class is already challenging me. I do not consider myself very experienced, but I am able to pick up basic conversational things. Despite this, I am very excited for this class and plan to get the most out of it as possible. The most challenging part of speaking/developing in this class is attempting to understand a Spanish speaker when they are speaking fast. I can usually hear familiar words in a conversation and I am able to comprehend what the other person is saying, but when my teacher or my peers are speaking at a faster speed, I get lost. I can speak Spanish outside the classroom by practicing with my family. My aunt's family are fluent Spanish speakers and I can practice with them whenever they are available. It would allow me to increase my comfortability. My partner for this project was Maddie. We collaborated and worked together to make a script and I believe it turned out very well for our first project.
