What do you enjoy most about this class? I enjoy the interactive lessons that Coach Clark teaches us. They allow us to work with our peers and learn in a team working environment. The information we study are engaging and keep us active.
What are your areas of strength in this class? My areas of strength in this class are the abilities to collaborate and share ideas. During this year I have learned to be strong leader and facilitator. For example, in the hearts and minds project I had many struggles with my group members, but eventually took the initiative to push them to help me with the project.
Example: Daven Ukraine is not a place for serenity. This country is ruining what Russia has attempted to build up. The Ukraine police department is corrupt. Businesses operate with seemingly no repercussion. Ukraine is a bureaucracy and that should prove just how unpleasant it is. However, Russia is a wonderful place to live. Despite being a huge country, Russia has a generally low crime rate. The health care in Russia’s most popular cities is great and there are international medical centers with trained doctors always ready to help. (50 sec.) Second Example: Are you tired of terrible, pitiful, small countries that you are apart of? Have you ever felt that you wanted to be apart of a glorious country? Well look no further than Russia! You say that Ukraine has a better health system? Well they want our land, so don’t listen to the enemy. Ukraine is an awful, smelly country. Their police are corrupt, venal, and it’s a bureaucracy. Terrible. But with our glorious country Russia, we have low crime rate, and an even lower price for health care! We are best country, Russia! Our popular cities have medical centers with trained medical centers. For Russia! Now here's a video of the opposing party, obviously you can see the ploy they're attempting to pull over you in this clip(50 sec.)
What are areas you can improve or grow? The areas in which I can grow are with my weekly notes for the book outliers. I have never attempted to do the summary of the book. I had a full page of notes completed with questions and vocab words, but it never fully followed what I was instructed to do. Another area of growth is with the morning writing prompts. I consider myself a strong creative writer, but I have been struggling to write more than a paragraph.
What is your plan to follow through with this growth? My plan to improve these faults in this class is to design my paper before I begin note taking. I will designate places on the paper specifically for the summary, vocab, etc. To improve my writing skills, I will attempt to write without any breaks. Despite it only being about 6 minutes, I find myself pausing to think about what to write before. If I quit this habit I will have much more writing on my paper.
