Chemistry Exhibition
For our chemistry exhibition, we learned about disorders, as well as drugs to treat them. We got assigned a drug to base a project off of. The drug that I chose to focus on was cocaine. We drafted and designed a project with group members to teach a group of students about our information. My group decided to make a board game called Cocaine Lifestyle. We created an adobe illustrator file drafting our board game. We included various icons to make the game more inviting and fun. My part in this project was research and writing. There were two main factors contributing to this project and I decided to take on the role of writing. With this job, comes writing the needed scenarios and game cards for the game. I also played a large part in the creation of the adobe illustrator file we based our project on.
I am very proud of my completed project. The board came out great and I am so glad I was able to create it. I am most proud of the final piece, as I believe it reflects beautiful work. I especially love the icons. I got lots of help in the process of creating this board, which I credit lots of work to my teacher. I struggled with this part the most as it was extremely tedious. We needed it to be perfect as we were going to send it to get laser printed. The final result turned out very well and printed great, as well. I found the design to be professional and fun. If I could do this project again, I would have gone above and made my board even better. I do not believe there is anything significant that needs to be changed, but I would have loved to create even more icons. I would also make a colored background as I believe it would make the board look even better. Overall, I loved this project and my group did very well. Our final product was fun to create and I am very proud of my work.
